tUnE-yArDs' already hectic year is just about to get busier. Earlier this spring the pop experimentalist, born Merrill Garbus, released her stunning sophomore album whokill, which we described as a "fierce Afrobeat-infused fantasia of looped vocals, horns, lacerating guitars and so much dub," and promptly took her show on the road. Now the artist's newly announced fall dates have her tied up practically until year's end.
Following a brief European tour, the musician kicks off the next leg of North American dates in late September with a two-night stand at New York's Le Poisson Rouge. From there, she will make her way across the continent, hitting up such Canadian cities as Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver along the way.
