Oddball art-pop singer tUnE-yArDs released Nikki Nack a few days ago (May 6), and she capped off the week by appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform the single "Water Fountain."
Single Merrill Garbus led her band in a quirky, wildly colourful performance that featured layered, drumline-style rhythms and group chants and whoops. The stage was decorated with a couch dressed up like a walrus, and the Roots walked out during the song's final passage to add even more percussion.
