Trent Reznor Rumoured for Vampire Role

If sources are to be believed, Trent Reznor might be entering the dreaded Oscar curse phase of his life similar to the career trajectory of Cuba Gooding Jr. After taking home the gold statue for Best Original Score at last week's Academy Awards, Rez has been rumoured to be scoring and appearing in a campy vampire flick.

Contact Music points to an article by a blog called Badass Digest that suggests Reznor will be scoring the soundtrack for an upcoming film called Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, based on the mash-up novel of the same name from Seth Grahame-Smith. The site reports that Reznor will also appear in the film as a vampire who tries to kill Lincoln's mother.

With Reznor's proto-goth, black-leather background in Nine Inch Nails this is definitely a match made south of heaven, and we would love to see it happen. The trouble is, we can't bring ourselves to take a site called Badass Digest at face value. Hopefully, proper confirmation comes shortly.
