Not only is Tre Mission a force to be reckoned with behind the mic, he's also an accomplished producer. Now, he's set to shine the spotlight on the latter skill set with the help of a new Canadian label.

The Toronto MC/producer will deliver an instrumental EP titled Bare Selection 001 on November 12. The release will arrive through the freshly founded Toronto-based label Bare Selection, with which the EP shares its name.

Bare Selection was founded by Freeza Chin and JAYEMKAYEM, a pair of staples DJs in Toronto's club scene with ties to the U.K.

"Toronto is my home but I've always thought of London as a second home as well, despite only having travelled there a few times," Freeza explained in a statement. "Grime, garage, U.K. funky — it's all been a huge part of my life, my sound and my identity as a creator and curator for over 15 years now. It's really cool to be able to support the sounds I love from both Toronto and the U.K. in a new way by releasing music through Bare Selection."

JAYEMKAYEM added: "It just made sense to launch the label together. Freeza will be shaping the sound of the label overall, getting artists on board for releases and doing all the mixing and mastering. And I'll be managing the other aspects of the label including marketing, branding, events, partnerships and more."

Bare Selection 001 arrives ahead of Tre Mission's forthcoming full-length Orphan Black, which the MC teased earlier this year. Recently, he revealed that a first single from the LP will arrive November 30.

Orphan Black is set to follow Tre Mission's 2014 full-length Stigmata. Back in 2016, he shared the singles "Gang" and "On a Wave."

A launch party for Bare Selection will take place on November 10 at Toronto's SoSo Food Club and will feature music from Beat Sampras, Mike Roc, Freeza Chin and JAYEMKAYEM.
