It might not be warm enough to pack up that winter coat just yet, but try to at least visualize yourself in some cut-off shorts and a Hawaiian shirt for this one: the Tragically Hip have announced an outdoor festival show in Toronto this Canada Day.

The iconic Canuck outfit's July 1 plans will find them headlining a one-day event at Toronto's Downsview Park. Seeing the Hip on their own is always a big to-do, but the band are also bringing along a number of pals to perform. Broken Social Scene, Hey Rosetta! and Buck 65 will be on-hand to spread a little national cheer, while American pop rock princes Weezer will join in the fun as well. After all, as far as festivals go, the more the merrier.

While tickets go on sale to the general public this Saturday (March 5) via Ticketmaster, the Hip started selling VIP fast passes to the event through their site today (February 28) and will be selling pre-sale general admission tickets starting Thursday (March 3).
