MorMor — the indie pop project of Toronto's Seth Nyquist — has detailed his debut album Semblance, out November 4, sharing new single "Chasing Ghosts" and mapping out a headlining tour of North America.

After sharing multiple singles from the record over the years — including "Far Apart," "Season Change" and "Don't Cry" — "Chasing Ghosts" arrives alongside an animated video created by Otto Tang.

"I felt that this character was from a similar world to the one that we had built for [2020's] 'Don't Cry'; therefore I decided to use this medium to tell the story," Nyquist said of the video. "There's a certain limitlessness when it comes to animation that I deeply appreciate. It is possible to create worlds that are not confined to the same kind of logic that exists outside of this medium."

He'll take all his new material on the road in early 2023, performing shows in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, as well as several dates in the US, throughout January and February.
