Ahead of delivering her debut EP Red Mind, Toronto-based singer-songwriter Maddee has shared a new song from the effort.
"Dry," which you can hear in the player below, finds the artist ruminating on self-worth. The single was co-produced alongside Gray Rowan (Charlotte Day Wilson, the Wayo).
"It's about trying to escape the feeling of loneliness but realizing it's perhaps better just to face it head-on," Maddee explained in a statement. "It's also about realizing my value in a relationship and what I'm ultimately worth and willing to give."
A press release notes that "Dry" fits into Red Mind's overarching concept of love and emotion. While a concrete release date has yet to be revealed, the EP is slated to arrive later this autumn.
