Toronto Restaurant Accused of Stealing Black Flag Logo

As iconic as the band were, Black Flag's four-bar logo is perhaps even more famous than their music (just ask any suburban punk with a home-job tattoo). The image, originally designed by Raymond Pettibon, has taken on a life of its own as others reappropriate it for jokey T-shirts or their own band logos. Now, however, a Toronto restaurant has seemingly taken the logo for themselves.

As Punknews reports, a Toronto restaurant called Four has recently emerged, and the logo is undeniably similar. Aside from their company emblem, the restaurant's website is laid out to look identical to the logo.

Take a look for yourself here, and enjoy the craving for both the culinary arts and an aggressive spin of My War. Of course, that's Black Flag's logo above for comparisons sake.

Black Flag guitarist and SST label head Greg Ginn is notoriously protective of the Black Flag logo, so we won't be surprised if he sends a cease and desist to the restaurant.
