Every once in a while, we get reminded that the breakneck pace of the news cycle can indeed have full-circle moments come back around like karma. It makes everything in the world feel just a little more connected, and it's a thing of beauty.

Ironically, today's interruption — or surge? — in flow comes from last year's infamous livestreamers Brass Against, whose bandleader Sophia Urista urinated on a fan's face mid-performance at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, FL. Now math enthusiasts and purveyors of third eye-opening and really expensive vinyl, Tool, have stepped up to the plate to make sure the viral incident doesn't repeat itself during the opening set on their European tour, which kicked off in Copenhagen last night (April 25).

Urista tweeted a photo of a paper sign affixed to the stage with tape, which reads: "NO PEE ZONE. No Urine Is To Be Deposited, Placed, Distributed, Sprinkled, Poured and/or Spread In This Immediate Area."

The band weren't charged for taking the piss during their performance of "Wake Up" by Rage Against the Machine last November, but they did end up banned from NASCAR venues. Their brassy take on the song also ended up closing out The Matrix Resurrections.

Urista and the collective apologized and repeatedly promised that the onstage urination situation — from which fan-shot footage made the internet rounds — was a one-time thing that wouldn't be seen at their shows again. "I'm not a shock artist," Urista clarified following the incident, adding: "I have always pushed the limits in music and stage. That night, I pushed the limits too far."

Fellow limit-pushers, Tool have been known to have a little Fibonacci fun in the form of onstage antics, with Maynard James Keenan recently playing Jenga during a show. His antics are also decidedly a lifestyle choice off-stage, sharing his demonstration of the Jiu Jitsu move he claims could have saved Chris Rock's life. (Again, Rock is in fact alive.)
