This week marks the new release from experimental Austin unit Thousand Foot Whale Claw, and ahead of the official arrival of Black Hole Party, you can get lost in all its cosmic wonder now.

With the project boasting members of S U R V I V E, Troller, Single Lash and Future Museums, Thousand Foot Whale Claw is a supergroup of sorts, with Black Hole Party marking the second LP from the project.

The release promises to provide everything from "serene sound baths to driving dance beats," as well as the band's "most defining body of work thus far." It's also "meant to be enjoyed in a multitude of environments for all fans of expansive listening," and the album even features some seriously tripped-out art by celebrated sci-fi/fantasy illustrator Kilian Eng.

Black Hole Party is out Friday (June 29) via Holodeck Records. You can pre-order the release here and stream it in full down below.
