Thom Yorke Tweets Photo of White Vinyl Record, Sparks Rumours of New Material

Ever an enigma, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has sent the internet into a frenzy after tweeting a photo of a white vinyl record.

Back in July, the band's guitarist Jonny Greenwood revealed that Radiohead would be starting work on a follow-up to 2011's King of Limbs in September. Then, earlier this month, Yorke got the rumour mill spinning by updating the band's PolyFauna app with a series of new images and sound clips.

Over the weekend, Yorke tweeted a photo of a spinning white record (pictured above), which was also sent in to cyberspace by longtime collaborator Nigel Godrich. The black and white prints seen in the background echo the album art of Yorke's solo work and Atoms for Peace outfit, spurring rumours that the wax could be new material from any one of Yorke's many projects.

While details remain frustratingly vague, Yorke is definitely up to something. Stay tuned for details.
