A 67-year-old man said he feels "like his childhood is coming back" after crowd surfing for the first time ever at a Killers show in Manchester this weekend, where he was dropped on his head and subsequently given a hug from Brandon Flowers

Flowers briefly halted the show to come down and check on (and embrace) Doug James — who was attending the show with his son — after seeing the man be carried across the crowd before getting dropped over the security barrier, where he bonked his head.

As reported by The Guardian, The show eventually started up again, with Flowers reportedly telling the crowd that when he'd asked James what on earth he was doing, he answered, "I was just enjoying meself!"

James was bleeding from a small head wound at the time but seems to be totally fine, and the band later tweeted a picture of James and Flowers hugging with the caption "There's no age limit for rock'n'roll!"

Speaking to BBC 5 Live following the show, James said that he "[wants] to do things I've not done. I was just enjoying the moment."

The Killers' last album was last year's Pressure Machine
