The Winamp Skin Museum Really Whips the Llama's Ass

Streaming services like Spotify are not exactly a favourite among artists, and iTunes is constantly trying to make you update and consolidate your files. While we're as happy as anyone that it's Bandcamp Friday today, we still can't help but feel a little nostalgic for the greatest way to listen to music on the computer — Winamp.

The beloved skin was not only great for its simplicity, but also the ability for users to customize its appearance with special themed skins. There were almost an unbearable amount of skins to choose from, and they were all cool as hell.

Fortunately, programmer Jordan Eldredge has launched the Winamp Skin Museum, which allows users to scroll through 65,000 Winamp skins. Best of all, they work. You can sample music and listen to the classic "whips the llama's ass" line to your heart's content.
