The White Stripes paid homage to their 2007 single "Icky Thump" with anti-Trump T-shirts last year, and now the album of the same name is getting the 10th anniversary reissue treatment.
Dubbed Icky Thump X, the deluxe vinyl reissues will arrive via Third Man Records' Vault subscription service. In order to get your hands on the latest release, head over here to sign up before July 31.
The new package features Icky Thump on special edition 180-gram "contained explosion" coloured vinyl, as well as an additional 12-inch that features plenty of B-sides and outtakes from the album's recording sessions — including live covers, Beck-produced exclusives and tracks recorded in the middle of a horse-racing field here in Canada.
Furthermore, a compilation titled The Red Demos is also included, featuring early run-throughs of the album's songs at Blackbird Studios in Nashville.
The music comes with an accompanying polaroid photo book, art prints, an alternate jacket and a pin set, all kept together in a "soft-touch telescoping box."
