This July will mark 20 years since the White Stripes made their debut with White Blood Cells, and to mark the milestone, Jack White's Third Man Records has unearthed a trove of rarities for a massive reissue.
Anniversary companion White Blood Cells XX will arrive as part of Third Man Records' Vault Package release series, which fans can sign up for through April 30 at midnight CT.
Vault Package #48, which follows White's 4-LP live album from earlier this year, includes a red vinyl LP containing 13 previously unreleased demos, alternate takes and demos, as well as a second white LP that features a previously unreleased live recording from Headliner's in Louisville, KY.
Along with the wax, the set includes an hour-long DVD feature with behind-the-scenes footage of the White Blood Cells recording process, and a 12" x 12" full-colour booklet containing rare posters and flyers, unseen photos and more. All pieces will come housed in a custom slipcase cover.
