Last year, Swedish singer-songwriter the Tallest Man on Earth (a.k.a. Kristian Matsson) released his latest LP Dark Bird Is Home, and now he's shared some insight into the process of making that record with a new short film.
The mini-doc was directed by Dan Huiting and Lauren Josephine, and it captures the musician at work in his home country of Sweden, piecing together what would become the full aforementioned record.
Inspired by the stunning landscapes around him, Matsson crafted an extremely personal record. He walks viewers through his creative process in the new clip, narrating in both English and Swedish. Follow along on his journey as he goes from fishing in a stream to paddling a boat around a lake to trekking through the Swedish scenery and finally into the studio.
