The Smashing Pumpkins have announced a sequel to 1995's Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and 2000's Machina/Machine of God. ATUM will be out in a series of instalments in the coming months, and the song "Beguiled" is out now.
ATUM is pronounced "autumn," and it's a 33-song rock opera divided into three 11-song acts, which will come out every 11 weeks. Act 1 lands on November 15, followed by Act 2 on January 31, and finally, Act 3 on April 21. Also on April 21, a box set will arrive featuring all 33 songs, plus 10 bonus cuts.
