The band's Ontario show has been delayed

The Rolling Stones have postponed their North American tour so that frontman Mick Jagger can receive medical treatment. This means that the group's upcoming shows in Canada and the U.S. have been delayed until further notice.

The exact nature of Jagger's illness hasn't been revealed, but according to a statement, "Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment. The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible."

In a statement to fans, Jagger apologized and added, "I'm devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on the road as soon as I can."

The Rolling Stones' "No Filter" tour was set to come to Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, ON, on June 29. There's no word as to when the date will be rescheduled, but tickets for that show will be valid for the rescheduled date.

The new dates will apparently be "announced shortly."
