While we haven't heard much out of the Pains of Being Pure at Heart these days, the indie-pop revivalists are heading back out on the road. And this time the project will have the like-minded Frankie Rose in tow.
Kip Berman and co. will head out on a North American trek this June. Along with hitting up a lot of U.S. cities, they will play Canadian shows in Toronto and Montreal. Frankie Rose will be along for most of the trek, while Pains offshoot Ablebody will be as well.

A press release also promises a new album from the Pains of Being Pure of Heart. While there are few details to go on so far on the project's fourth album, the PR promises, "They have put together a new collection of songs that possess a timeless grandeur, deeper and more satisfying than anything the band has done since their iconic debut."
It also says: "On their forthcoming LP, they push beyond their many inspirations and embrace their role as indie-pop heroes in their own right."
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart's last album was 2014's Days of Abandon, while Frankie Rose released Herein Wild in 2013.
