The Man Formerly Known as Kanye West Dons Nightmare Mask, Has Coffee With Michael Cohen
The man formerly known as Kanye West continues to do things. This time around, "things" include donning what appears to be a full head-and-neck-covering silicon(?) mask and having coffee — for the second time — in New York with Trump's former attorney/right hand man Michael Cohen.

According to Page Six, Cohen explained that Ye's uncanny valley nightmare mask was an attempt at getting some privacy after being recognized by fans.

"The purpose [of the mask] was so that people would not recognize him … the first 10 minutes we sat down, he was mobbed by people … who wanted photos, and to say hello. So he put on this mask to give him some anonymity, which interestingly enough, did not really work," Cohen told Page Six

While the mask certainly covers Ye's face — plus his neck, ears and entire head — it's not exactly the most inconspicuous disguise in the world.

Cohen and Ye reportedly had "a lot of newspapers on the table," though the purpose of their meetings — they were seen grabbing coffee at the same location earlier this month — remains unclear. Going out on a limb and guessing that whatever they're meeting about can't be good.

Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison in December 2018 for tax fraud and some other charges, though he was released on house arrest in 2020.

Take a look at some tweets featuring photos of their meeting below, and try not to think too hard about whatever announcement is inevitably coming our way.
