The Knack Have Finally Made a Coronavirus Version of "My Sharona"

There have been myriad obvious jokes at play since the world first learned about coronavirus earlier this year. Outside of beer humour, one of the most popular was turning the Knack's hit song "My Sharona" into a COVID-19 anthem. Now, at long last, the Knack have made it happen.

The new version of the song — which is called "Bye, Corona!" — doesn't feature the Knack's vocalist Doug Fieger, who died in 2010, but it does include plenty of hilarious visuals as guitarist Berton Averre wipes down his axe. 

It's kind of impressive that they did this, considering Weird Al wasn't even willing to touch it:
