It's the latest single to arrive from 'Imploding the Mirage'

It's been a weird and bad year so far, to say the least. One minor consolation prize, however, is that all signs suggest that the Killers are about to return to form with their new LP Imploding the Mirage. They've just shared the latest single from the release, and it's absolutely a classic Killers cut.

"My Own Soul's Warning" has all the makings of greatness from this band. There is a Springsteen-esque lead, a shuffling percussive section, a part that's just bass and singing, and plenty of epic Americana from our boy Brandon Flowers.

The single's art, available above, is from a series of Blackshear works depicting the Crow Tribe of Indians, who gave the band their blessing to use the painting. In a letter, the tribe shared the following statement:

Artists living across the world inspired by our people and way of life, is a total honour and true testament of the knowledge our people share. During this unprecedented time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the injustice of police brutality protests around the world. Our people recognize the need to also help keep our spirits positive.

Listen to "My Own Soul's Warning" below. Imploding the Mirage still doesn't have a release date, but we're certainly looking forward to its arrival.
