The Internet Return with North American Tour; Syd Shares "The Body"

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Jan 24, 2017

While the members of Odd Future spinoff the Internet are going solo these days, they are also all getting back together for a North American tour.

Dubbed "THE INTERNET Presents THE INTERNET Tour," the trek is taking off next month, hitting up a series of U.S. stops, as well as one Canadian one. The Internet will play Vancouver's Imperial venue on March 16.

In a statement, here's how the group explained the tour: "For this run of shows, the band is deconstructed — each member taking center stage to play a set of solo material while the rest of the band backs them up. 5 artists, 5 sets. 1 band reassembled at the end of the evening."

You can check out the schedule below, with tickets going on sale on Friday (January 27).

Along with the tour announcement, the group's Syd is showing off some more of her upcoming solo album Fin with the new song "Body," which you can hear below.

As previously reported, Fin arrives via Columbia on February 3, while Internet bandmate Matt Martians will also release a new solo album called The Drum Chord Theory on January 27 through AWAL/Kobalt Music.
