While the previous song got a mixed reception due an edgier-than-usual sound from Swift, "ME!" is sort of the opposite, in that it's a musical theatre piece that sounds exactly like the collage of unicorn puke the singer's been teasing it with on social media for the last couple weeks.
Naturally, there are a lot of diehard Swifties who think it's the greatest song of all time, while others aren't so into her newly unveiled campy, bubbly persona and sound, which comes via the help of Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie. Others just can't help but recall the rainbow-splattered album rollout for Jenny Lewis 2014 album The Voyager.
See some of Twitter's best reactions to "ME!" below.
In other Swift news, she and Urie will open the Billboard Music Awards with a performance of their new song. The ceremony airs on May 1.

The video is fun as hell and I hope this all makes fans happy because life is hard, but any critic, even the poptimist purists, who tries to tell you that the new T Swift song is better than "aggressively fine" isn't just a cop, they're the chief of police.

I watched 20 seconds of the taylor swift video and realized that I am extremely afraid of white people who have that "2 years of high school French" energy.
