The Guy from Trapt Is Feuding with the Guy from Power Trip Because 2020 Has Everything

Only time will tell who is the most "Headstrong"

Time has not exactly been kind to the California nu-metal band Trapt, whose 2002 hit "Headstrong" was not quite ridiculous enough to enjoy an ironic re-appraisal in the modern era. Like so many lost, angry people, Trapt frontman Chris Taylor Brown has now turned to Donald Trump as an outlet for his anger, which has in turn resulted in pushback from Power Trip's Riley Gale. Yes, in addition to everything else, 2020 has given us a Trapt/Power Trip feud.

The whole thing started in a disgustingly low place when Trapt's Twitter page called civil rights activist Bishop Talbert Swan "The authority on victim mentality" in Donald Trump's Twitter replies:
 

Then, the Trapt account got some digs in at the guy from CunninLynguists:
 


From there, it turned into a good ol' fashioned internet fight, further proving that Twitter really is just one big web forum:
 

 

 

 

Of course, the great irony of this whole thing is that neither artist could possibly play a show right now thanks to coronavirus. But it's still fun to watch them fight.
