After delivering Play for Keeps back in 2015, the Elwins have lifted the curtain on their second full-length effort for Hidden Pony Records. Titled Beauty Community, the band's new disc will arrive through the label on October 13 in Canada and the United States, as well as Elwins Music Group outside of North America.
Thirteen tracks in length, the record is said to showcase "refined and dynamic display of the band's powerful pop songwriting chops." A first taste of the disc can be heard below with album opener "Hey! Ya, You."
"Looking back, it kinda blows my mind thinking about all the different conversations we had about the new album and how much we supported each other through the process of making it," said bassist Francesco Figliomeni. "I guess it's not exactly a surprise but a nice reminder that four different people with different tastes can come together and create something."
The band have also lined up a lengthy fall tour in support of the new disc. Dates in Ontario and Manitoba during September and October will give way to a November that finds the band travelling through Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec until returning to play their home province.
