Gorillaz are already marking 20 years of their self-titled debut album with a massive box set reissue, and they've now announced plans to celebrate with a new coffee table book.

The band's co-creator and artist, Jamie Hewlett, has announced The Gorillaz Art Book, due to arrive via Z2 Comics in April 2022.

The 288-page tome features "new interpretations" of Gorillaz by over 40 artists. Along with Hewlett, other musical names involved include the Cure's Robert Smith, Jack Black, Del the Funky Homosapien and Slaves' Laurie Vincent.

Further contributions come from The Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracken, Clone High art director Tara Billinger, Adventure Time artist Erik Fountain, Mad Max: Fury Road co-writer Brendan McCarthy and many more. Find a list of contributors in the trailer below.

"Gorillaz have always collaborated with music, but this is the first time we've done an art collaboration," said Hewlett in a statement. "I've really enjoyed working with so many of my favourite artists and the result is this amazing book."

Gorillaz released surprise EP Meanwhile this year, while Damon Albarn also shared solo album The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows
