In 2020, the Black Crowes' historic debut album Shake Your Money Maker turned 30. They had planned an extensive North American anniversary tour to celebrate. Then... well, you know.
Anyway, brothers Chris and Rich Robinson were finally able to get the show on the road in 2021, playing over 37 shows — and now they've got more dates on deck that will bring them across the border this summer.
The Black Crowes have scheduled Windsor, Toronto and Abbotsford concerts for this July on the next leg of their anniversary trek, which will begin on June 9 in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and stretch on until August 27 in Miami, OK. They've also tapped the Trews as the opening act for the Ontario dates at Caesar's Palace and the Budweiser Stage.
The band officially broke up back in 2015, but the Robinsons have decidedly balked on their initial anti-reunion stance. Their most recent album remains 2009's Before the Frost...Until the Freeze.
Tour presale begins tomorrow (February 23), with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday (February 25) here at 10 a.m. local time unless otherwise indicated.
