Last month, the 1975 confirmed (in fittingly cryptic fashion) that the follow-up to 2020's Notes on a Conditional Form would be arriving sometime this year. Other hints and whispers have rolled in in the weeks since, but now we've finally got something concrete.
The band's new record Being Funny in a Foreign Language is arriving October 14 on Dirty Hit, and they've just shared a video for lead single "Part of the Band," which finds the quartet in a slightly gentler, more folk-rock indebted place.
Being Funny in a Foreign Language was recorded at Real World Studios in Wiltshire, England and Electric Lady Studios in New York.
