Tenacious D are the latest band to show their support for the victims of last month's Paris attacks, and they're doing so by auctioning off an array of wonderfully weird memorabilia from throughout the duo's career.
Fans can bid on items that range from "Rize of the Fenix Tour" props like the 15-foot tall title character and the Evil Alien Squid, to costume sets worn by the band like the Lizard & Wizard, outfits from the "Low Hangin' Fruit" video and the matching onesies that Kyle Gass and Jack Black wore on an episode of MTV's Total Request Live.
If pre-worn robes aren't your thing, bidding is also open on autographed Nerf Guns and cardboard car cutouts from "The Pick of Destiny Tour." For more traditional rock'n'roll collectors, signed and framed posters are also up on the auction block.
The proceeds from the auction will go to towards a campaign for the Sweet Stuff Foundation, heralded by Eagles of Death Metal's member Josh Homme.
"Our friend Josh Homme asked if Tenacious D would participate in the awareness and fund raising campaign in the wake of the recent attacks," Tenacious D told Billboard. "We were eager to join the cause. This is our small but heartfelt contribution."
