Tegan and Sara to Release Live Seven-Inch for Record Store Day

Record Store Day is just three days away (April 17), and news of limited-edition goodies keeps on rolling in. We've already reported about exclusive releases from the likes of Blur, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, as well as Beach House and Them Crooked Vultures. Now, pop rockin' twins Tegan and Sara have announced that they will be getting in on the action, releasing a four-song live EP called Saints: Live.

The tracks were recorded last fall, and include recent singles "Hell" and "Alligator," as well as two album cuts from last year's Sainthood. The songs were originally recorded for Spinner's Interface, and you can watch videos of the performance here.

"In celebration of Record Store Day, Sara and I are excited to be teaming up with AOL to release four live songs off our latest record, Sainthood, on vinyl," Tegan Quin told Spinner. "It's a special release for us, as the tracks were recorded on the day Sainthood came out, Oct. 27, 2009. It's our first vinyl release with live songs on it and we hope you enjoy it."

All four tracks fit onto a seven-inch record, which you can pick up this Saturday from participating stores. No word on how many copies are going to be pressed, but rest assured that this EP won't be around for long.
