Tech N9ne Rolls Out "Something Else Canadian Tour," Collaborates with Members of the Doors

Veteran fast-rapper Tech N9ne is currently travelling the U.S in support of his impending Something Else LP, and he's now announced a hefty Canadian leg of the tour takes place August.

The tellingly titled "Something Else Canadian Tour" kicks off out in Toronto at Rockpile on August 15, and the rapper and tour bud Krizz Kaliko will make their way westward from there. They'll head out as far as Vancouver Island and cap the trip in Chilliwack, BC. You can see the details of the Canadian tour down below, and peep his U.S. dates over here.

Something Else arrives July 30 through the rapper's own Strange Music. The LP contains a collaboration with the Doors titled "Strange 2013," which riffs on the rock band's "Strange Days." The track was recorded with guitarist Robby Krieger, drummer John Densmore and the late Ray Manzarek last year at L.A.'s Village Recorders. You can watch a behind-the-scenes clip of Tech N9ne and his rock'n'roll collaborators recoding the track below.

"If I didn't listen to their music and their fusion of sounds, I probably would've never called [my label] Strange Music," Tech N9ne told Rolling Stone. "I have Jim Morrison to thank for that. Who would've fuckin' thunk it years later that I would work with his homies?"
