Taylor Swift hasn't released an album since 2014's 1989 (not that it's affected her earning power), and now a social media-deleting blitz has many believing that the pop star's full-length follow-up is imminent.

As of today (August 18), Swift's Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr pages have all been turned into, well, blank spaces.

The mass delete has many closely watching their Swift notifications, expecting a personal brand revamp to be unveiled soon — and hopefully mark the beginning of the singer's latest album cycle.

For those keeping track, she revealed 1989's lead single "Shake It Off" on this exact day (August 18) three years ago.

Some particularly keen sleuths have noted that Swift's Direct TV channel has the singer scheduled as a guest on Good Morning America tomorrow morning (August 19), further fuelling the rumours of a new single and possible album announcement.
Swift and her team have been incredibly tight-lipped about any upcoming releases, though tourmate and pal Ed Sheeran hinted that Swift should be dropping a new album before the end of this year.

There were also rumours that Swift had been in the studio with Drake, following the pop star's appearance at the Toronto rapper's birthday party last fall. An insider reportedly claimed that the pair had been working on tunes that were "different" than Swift fans were used to, but maintained the new stuff was still "catchy."

Since releasing the chart-topping 1989, Swift also teamed up with Zayn for the Fifty Shades Darker single "I Don't Wanna Live Forever."
