Original Talking Heads member Jerry Harrison and touring member Adrian Belew have announced plans to play across the US on their 2023 Remain in Light tour, making a lone stop in Canada along the way.
In celebrating the band's seminal 1980 record, the duo will perform 19 shows through February and March next year, beginning with a trio of dates in Colorado. From there, they'll hit Minneapolis, Chicago, Buffalo and more, before making their way across the border to perform at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on March 2. The tour wraps up on the 11th in New Haven, CT.
"Remain in Light is a high point in my career," Harrison said in a release. "Adrian and I had often discussed the magic of the 1980 tour and the sheer joy it brought to audiences. It is such a delight to see that joy once again in the audiences on the current tour."
Belew added: "A joyful show of Talking Heads songs you know and love performed by a hot, eleven-piece ensemble including Jerry and me. You can't help but dance and go home with a happy smile on your face."
