T-Pain just discovered his Instagram message request folder — and he wants to apologize to all the famous friends he has been accidentally ignoring for two years.
The singer posted a new video recording of his extensive DM requests from a truly stacked list of celebrities he's been inadvertently dodging. Among the list of contacts are Diplo, Fergie, Viola Davis, YBN Nahmir and apparently hundreds more.
"I was today years old when I found out about the request folder on Instagram that's full of celebs trying to reach me," he wrote in the video. "I've been accidentally straight up ignoring all these people for like 2 years. I thought DM's are supposed to just show up in the normal folder and you don't have to go digging for all these."
In the video, T-Pain said he's started chipping away at responding to his messages, but that he'll have to find a way to apologize to everyone en masse because he has so many people to reply to.
He wrote: "I swear!! I'm just now seeing all these messages and mentions TODAY!!!! How do I super apologize? Press conference? Townhall meeting? I'm dumb."
In a comment, Flying Lotus summed up everyone's reaction nicely, writing "B R U H," while Ashanti admitted to doing "the same exact thing like two days ago." Celebrities — they're just like us!
