After a brief hiatus from TDE's ongoing "Championship Tour," SZA returned to the stage tonight at Madison Square Garden in New York City. However, her vocal cord troubles may be far from over, as she hinted at the possibility of permanent damage.

In a series of now-deleted tweets (which have been archived by Vulture) SZA wrote, "My voice is permanently injured," adding, "Tonight was the test. That settles that. 👍🏾"

She added, "I jus wanna be left alone my priorities are fucked up. They been fucked up. I need space goodbye."

Earlier this month on May 23, TDE boss Anthony Tiffith revealed that SZA would be pulled off a handful of dates to rest her voice.

"Her vocal chords are swollen and she have to rest her voice to prevent any permanent damage," he tweeted, explaining why she missed recent performances in Arizona, New Mexico and Virginia Beach.

"The Championship Tour" is slated to hit Toronto on June 12. See the remaining stops listed below, and stay tuned for further updates on SZA's status.
