Sunfields

"Three to the Sun" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Aug 24, 2017

Montreal outfit Sunfields delivered Habitat back in 2014, and they're ready to follow it up with a new LP titled Mono Mono next month. Ahead of the record's arrival, however, Exclaim! is giving you an exclusive first look at the video for album cut "Three to the Sun."

The forthcoming full-length features guest appearances by members of the Barr Brothers, the Sheepdogs, the Trews, Snailhouse and Angela Desveaux, helping Sunfields craft a sound they describe as akin to "Wilco making out with Tom Petty in the back of Neil Young's van while listening to the Byrds."

"Three to the Sun" encapsulates that folky, feel-good, retro rock'n'roll vibe, and the accompanying video features shadowy performance footage of the band. Watch it below.

If you like what you see, be sure to catch Sunfields at their upcoming live dates listed below. Mono Mono is out September 29 via Exit Sign Music.
