The Stone Roses reunion has already paid off in multiple ways, from numerous reunion shows to the band's upcoming Shane Meadows-shot Made of Stone documentary. We're getting closer to the ultimate payoff, however, as the band have finally started talking new material.
Speaking to the unfortunately named Manchester website Gigslutz, Stone Roses bassist Mani said that the band have "been working on a few bits" of new music.
Those are some scarce details if we've ever seen them, but it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the band are working on a new album. After all, they signed a record deal with Universal and Columbia in 2011.
