Stars Kick Off Covers Project with Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe"

While it's unclear when Canadian indie vets Stars will deliver a follow-up to 2014's No One Is Lost, the band have unveiled plans to issue a cover song a month throughout 2016. The first tributary tune is a redo of Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe."

A press release explains that the band will deliver 12 covers songs on a month-to-month basis this year. The first entry in the series was produced by Stars and finds the band's Amy Millan handling lead vocals for the Another Side of Dylan classic. Described as "a bare, vulnerable version," it puts on display, ahem, another side of Stars.

Details have yet to be revealed behind what other songs will be covered by Stars, but you'll find their slow and subtle run-through of "It Ain't Me Babe" over here. You'll also find the band's global tour itinerary down below.

Tour dates:

02/12 Jakarta, Indonesia - Soehanna Hall
02/14 Singapore, Singapore - Victoria Theatre
02/18 Taipei, Taiwan - The Wall
02/20 Manila, Philippines - Goodvybes Festival
02/21 Honolulu, Hawaii - The Republik
