St. Vincent Is Seriously Stoked That Jack White Used Her Signature Guitar on 'SNL'

"JACK WHITE PLAYED MY GUITAR ON SNL LAST NIGHT!! WHA?!!! F— YES!!"

When Jack White appeared on our most recent cover, a number of folks in our comments sections pointed out that he was clutching a St. Vincent signature model Ernie Ball Music Man guitar in the photo. Now, St. Vincent (a.k.a. Annie Clark) herself has taken note of White's guitar choice, and evidently she's thrilled.

Last night (April 14), White appeared on Saturday Night Live and he played — you guessed it — his St. Vincent signature model. Today, Clark responded with the following tweet:
Watch White's performance on SNL below. He plays his St. Vincent signature model on "Connected by Love" (the guitar solo of which comes complete with some two-hand tapping). He uses a different guitar on "Over and Over and Over."

We're not aware of Jack White and St. Vincent ever crossing paths before, but hopefully this can spark some sort of a collaboration between the two. After all, they're a couple of the best guitarists of their generation, so we can only imagine that a team-up between the two would involve some seriously righteous shredding.
