In a previous Exclaim! interview, avant-pop songwriter St. Vincent told us that she would be playing a cop uniform model in an upcoming episode of the Fred Armisen/Carrie Brownstein venture Portlandia. Sure enough, that episode aired last week (February 3), and now the footage has emerged online.
The clip, which also includes actor Kyle McLaughlin (of Twin Peaks/Sex and the City/Blue Velvet fame) playing the mayor of Portland, shows the singer modelling some ridiculous new police uniforms. She's introduced as Annie -- as you might know, St. Vincent's real name is Annie Clark. She doesn't say anything, but when her name is called, she hops on the table and struts her stuff with a gun and a pair of handcuffs.
