Spencer Krug Brings Moonface to Western Canada on North American Tour, Begins Work on New LP

BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 7, 2011

Spencer Krug's debut Moonface LP, Organ Music Not Vibraphone Like I'd Hoped, is scarcely a month old, but the Wolf Parade songwriter is already hard at work on a new album. He will also be taking some time away from the studio in October when he hits the road for another North American tour.

The outing will bring him to Western Canada, with Canadian shows in Saskatoon, Calgary and Vancouver. There are 17 dates in total, making it a busy three weeks for Krug. Like his last Moonface tour, he will be joined on stage by percussionist Mike Bigelow.

As for Krug's next album, it's a collaboration with Scandinavian experimentalists Siinai. According to a press release, they're currently holed up in Finland working on a full-length. While we wait for more details to be confirmed, check out the complete tour schedule below.
