If you’ve been on the lookout for that perfect audio companion to go along with your purple lipstick and Jack and Sally tees do we ever have good news for you. On September 30, Walt Disney Records will be releasing Nightmare Revisited, a musical tribute to Tim Burton’s 1993 holiday favourite, A Nightmare Before Christmas.

On the 20-track disc you’ll find such hipster-approved artists as Sparklehorse, the Polyphonic Spree, Datarock, RJD2 and the Album Leaf taking on a variety of Nightmare tunes. Also in there, though, are also some contributions that may not reach as high on the cool meter, with artists like Korn, All-American Rejects, Marilyn Manson and Amy Lee of Evanescence being on the mix too. However, old Manson and Lee are kind of made for something like this now aren’t they?

On the plus side, at least Disney didn’t include Fall Out Boy’s dreadful cover of "What’s This?”

Here is the tracklisting for Nightmare Revisited:

1. DeVotchKa "Overture"
2. Danny Elfman "Opening"
