If there's one thing the Soundtrack of Our Lives have never been short on it's ambition. Just take a look at their upcoming new full-length, which finds the long-running Swedish psych rock troop churning out two discs, 24 tracks and one big ol' concept album based on the notions of day and night with one track for every hour of the day.

Dubbed Communion, the record is "a large scale mood piece," says the press release, and found Soundtrack of Our Lives experiencing "divine inspiration" in the studio. "This was the easiest, most natural thing we've ever recorded," front-man Ebbot Lundberg says in the release. "It really felt like the album created itself, like we had a dream of what the album was supposed to be and then the album became that."

This follow-up to the band's last effort, 2005's Origin Vol. 1, will be the band's first album in a good four years, as well as the group's first on new North American label home Yep Roc, who will be releasing Communion March 3.
