Following his recent settlement with former Florida governor Charlie Crist, we're ready to get back to fawning over David Byrne's creative output. The accomplished Talking Heads frontman and solo artist took his excellent Brian Eno collaboration Everything That Happens Will Happen Today on a North American tour in 2008 and 2009, producing a live show that "never offered a dull moment" when it hit Vancouver. If you missed it, however, fret not, as the live show is the subject of a new concert film.

The flick is called Ride, Rise, Roar and combines Byrne's onstage performances from the trek with detailed behind-the-scenes footage, including auditions, rehearsals and interviews with Byrne's players and crew. The result is an in-depth look at the unique combination of modern dance and pop music that was produced on the tour.

Ride, Rise, Roar will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 31 via Eagle Rock Entertainment. More information abotu the film can be found here while a trailer for the film is available below.
