Liam Gallagher fans have been known to bring odd musical instruments to gigs, to the point where festivals have had to ban potato peelers. Unfortunately for Liam, aquatic wildlife wasn't banned (or at least not well enforced) at Festival Internacional de Benicàssim in Spain over the weekend.
Yes, someone from the crowd somehow managed to procure a fish and throw it onstage during Gallagher's set.
Gallagher paused the set to address the situation, asking the crowd, "Which dickhead threw the fish here, then?"
He went on to describe it as a "fucking stinky, smelly fish," but ultimately decided it "ain't that fucking bad, man."
Gallagher continued, "Don't be throwing fish onstage, mate. I've seen a lot worse than this shit. All right?"
Nevertheless, he didn't start up the set again until a roadie came out to clear the fish off the stage.
"I can't be fucking singing while there's a fish there man," Gallagher said, before laughing and launching into "Cigarettes and Alcohol."
