Not letting recent comments from the president of the United States get him down, Long Beach legend Snoop Dogg has shared news of a new album that will arrive this spring.

In an Instagram video, the rapper revealed the title of the new project to be Never Left, adding that it will be out in May. The clip shows the Doggfather listening to a beat he says is produced by Rick Rock, who had previously worked with Snoop on 2006's The Blue Carpet Treatment, 2008's Ego Trippin' and 2011's Doggumentary.

UPDATE (4/6, 2:25 p.m. EDT): Snoop has now revealed that Never Left will arrive on May 19.

Along with the new album news, Snoop also recently shared a video for the Just Blaze-produced "Super Crip," which appeared on last year's Coolaid. Drawing on the album art's animated characters, the Dylan Brown-directed clip follows the adventures of the 'hood hero in comic book format.

While we await further details on Never Left, look below to find the video for "Super Crip" and to watch Snoop break the new album news.
