Saturday Night Live has announced that Odd Future crooner Frank Ocean will be the musical guest when the sketch show returns for its 38th season on September 15.

The season premiere will be hosted by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, with a musical performance from Ocean, who is also scheduled to appear on MTV's Video Music Awards on September 6.

For the second week back (September 22), British folksters Mumford & Sons will be providing the musical entertainment alongside host Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Their new album Babel arrives on September 25.

Rounding out the lineup that's been released so far, British stadium rockers Muse will be delivering a performance on the October 6 episode, hosted by Daniel Craig.

The long-running TV show closed out last season with performances from Mick Jagger alongside Arcade Fire and the Foo Fighters.
