Small Town Lungs "Scavenger" (video)

Small Town Lungs 'Scavenger' (video)
Hailing from Whitby, ON, progressive indie rock outfit Small Town Lungs describe themselves as a "concoction of excitement, curiosity, friendship, dedication and meticulous detail." That promising combination comes together on the band's latest track "Scavenger" — and Exclaim! has got your first look at the brand new visual accompaniment.

The video was directed by Kyle Marchen and produced/edited Van Wickiam, and it follows an on-assignment detective trying to pin down an ever-elusive cat burglar. As the feline felon snatches valuable art pieces, the band provide a soundtrack of sorts, playing on a theatre stage — until their instruments catch the eye of the sneaky thief. The clip experiments with traditional storytelling formats, delivering a final product that runs as a film presented as a play.

Small Town Lungs are currently competing in Toronto radio station The Edge's Next Big Thing contest, and will perform as part of the finale concert this Friday (August 21) at the Phoenix.
