Sloan Share New Xmas Song, Announce Split 7-Inch with Fucked Up

Last month, we learned that both Toronto hardcore favourites Fucked Up and Cancon alt-rock legends Sloan were spreading some Christmas cheer via a couple of charitable benefit concerts in Toronto, but it looks as if the altruists will give even more to the causes via a newly announced split seven-inch.

A press release explains that Sloan offer up a festive take on "12 Days of Christmas," but it's unclear which holiday number Fucked Up will deliver. The punk vets, however, are well versed in winter-celebrating songs.

In the meantime, you can listen to Sloan's seasonal number below and head over to their Bandcamp page to pick up the tune for 99 cents.

The single will be available at both Fucked Up's December 20 show with PS I Love You at Toronto's Great Hall, and Sloan's show with Ohbijou at the same venue the next night. All proceeds from the concerts and single will go to Barriere Lake Solidarity Legal Defence Fund and Counterfeit Harm Reduction Programs.
